Interior Department Announces New Grants

Big Game corridors to be strengthened and protected.

The Department of the Interior announced on Thursday that a new $4.4 million grant had been created for the conservation of migration corridors for several species of big game. An additional $3.1 million from a partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation also was made available. These projects will allow for these animals to have safe passage across roads, bridges, fences, and other man-made barriers.

Secretary Bernhardt said, “As we continue to approach conservation of migration corridors and winter range for mule deer, elk, and pronghorn in a non-regulatory and voluntary manner, we are showing how conservation succeeds in the 21st century. We are protecting, enhancing and restoring habitat for big game and countless other species of wildlife.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would lead Secretary Bernhardt to the best way to protect American wildlife.
  • For the Interior Department to be used by God to bring environmental protection to the nation.
  • That President Trump’s Administration would be a good steward of God’s creation
